One Day, One Life - The third week of August - End of pop-up at Daimaru Sapporo and start of TICAD 9

Hello everyone,

The pop-up at Daimaru Sapporo, which ran from August 6th to August 19th, has now ended.

Thank you very much to everyone who came to the event.
It was an invaluable experience, with wonderful, coincidental encounters with people of the same generation, from the same hometown, and people who have seen Nigeria and Africa from the same perspective, making the world seem small. We hope to hold another pop-up in Sapporo, Hokkaido, so please look forward to the next one.

Well, TICAD 9 started yesterday, August 20th.

Our store also exhibited to promote "KARL&C".

We are the only brand that has a booth for bags and lifestyle items. Thankfully, we have received offers not only from Japanese people but also from overseas, but we are excited to see what will happen.

However, it seemed like visitors were inconvenienced on the first day.
There was a long queue at the entrance, and some people gave up and went home.
This seems to be because there is only one gate for baggage inspection, similar to that at an airport.

The photo below shows a scene from the joint welcome reception for Prime Minister Ishiba and the Mayor of Yokohama.

The buffet is also of good quality.

I went on a business trip to Yokohama without taking a break from my Sapporo business trip, so it really hit home.

Just one complaint.
Someone I met for the first time asked me, "It's not profitable, is it?"
I was impressed by his thought process and what his purpose was.

good night
