One Day, One Life, Second Week of July, Talking about change that starts with small steps
Hello everyone. I am Kaoru Tsuji, the representative of the company.

This blog, titled "One Day, One Life," aims to spend each day as carefully as possible, and is an article that summarizes the events that happened over the past week and the feelings that accompanied them.
I spent a lot of time in the office during the week of July 7th. Compared to the pop-up, I was able to use my time more freely and it was easier physically, but it was mentally tough as I had a lot to think about.
Also, with so many pop-ups and business trips, it's inevitable that updates to our website and e-commerce site will be neglected, so we'll use this time to make various updates.
However , although the tasks of listing new products, uploading images, and updating text may seem simple when you put it into words, they actually require a lot of determination .
The reason is that it's quite a hassle. Sometimes it's hard to come up with ideas, so I put it off. I hesitate to do it, and end up running away.
I call this the "running phenomenon." I run about three times a week. This has been going on for over three years, and I still don't feel like running until I'm running.
I run in the morning except in the middle of summer, so when I wake up in the morning, a lot of reasons not to run come to mind. For example, "I worked late yesterday, so maybe I should take the day off," or "I have an important appointment today, so maybe I should save my energy and not run."
But once you drag your heavy legs and change into your running clothes, it's amazing. Little by little, you start to feel like giving up, and the reason not to run disappears. And once you start running, it gradually becomes more enjoyable. By the time you finish, you'll think, "Today was another great day!"

At first you don't like it, but once you start you keep going and eventually it becomes fun. This happens a lot in life. There are times when you have to do something but don't feel like it, so you end up putting it off. But once you actually try it, it turns out to be surprisingly fun. I think studying is one example of this.
The question is how to do it. Try to aim for "small steps."
- If you're running, make it a goal to get changed into your running clothes in the morning.
- If you are studying, make it your goal to just sit at your desk, even if you don't have to study.
- To avoid gaming, make it your goal to put your gaming console away.
- To avoid looking at your smartphone while you sleep, make it a goal to put your smartphone on the charger in the living room before going to sleep.
What do you think? The hurdles to achieving your original goals will be lowered in an instant. Give it a try.
So, I'll do my best to update the website, which has a lot of tasks ahead of me. My small step is to make coffee an hour and a half after waking up.
