[One Day, One Life] Talking about the first week of June

The pop-up at Ueno Marui ended on Sunday, June 1st.

First of all, I would like to thank everyone for helping us complete the 10-day pop-up successfully.
Thank you to everyone who came to the venue and cared about us.

The first thing that impressed me about the pop-up at Ueno Marui was the large number of inbound visitors. There were people from various countries, but I got the impression that the majority of customers were from China.

Many of them were looking for character and anime content items, and I could really feel the popularity of the Japanese content industry and the high demand for it.

On the other hand, for customers who purchase bags.

A few hours after making the first purchase, the customer returned to the store and, speaking in fluent Japanese with a Chinese accent, said, "I want to buy it as a gift for a friend." After pondering over which color to get, he purchased the same item.

While I felt grateful, I also suddenly realized that I don't have the habit of giving bags as gifts to friends.

Please put aside the question, "I don't have any close friends like that?" (laughs)

If I were in the same position, I would be hesitant to give the same bag as a gift, thinking, "I don't think she'll like it."

However, it may be presumptuous, but I also thought that the act of "giving" is more important than whether the recipient is happy with the item or not.

It was a moment when I realized that I've been so busy lately that I've only been thinking about myself.

Next up is Namba Marui from June 11th to June 24th.

This is our first time in Osaka! We will be offering carefully selected products, so please look forward to it.
