Talking about the bustle of Osaka's Namba area and our daily lives
I'm currently on a business trip to Namba, Osaka, where there are a lot of foreign tourists.
In addition to inbound demand, perhaps the effects of the Expo are also being felt. When I walked through Ebisubashi-suji Shopping Street at night, I got the impression that 80% of the people I passed were foreigners . (Maybe I'm being too exaggerated?)

On the other hand, what if foreigners stopped coming to Japan?
I wonder what will happen. I imagine the city will become deserted .
I can't help but wonder if Japan's current vitality is due to inbound tourism. The fact that it is said that about half of the sales of some department stores come from inbound tourism shows how large an impact it has.
On the other hand, I'm also curious about what kind of daily life most Japanese people lead.
The common voices I hear from people around me are:
"I don't have much time to enjoy shopping because I have to commute between work and home."
"I do my shopping locally or buy the cheapest products possible online."
"If I go out, it's usually to a drinking party."
"I'm busy raising my children."
What do you all think?
Rather than spending time solely on shopping, I think many people spend their time and money on experiences.
Do you like communication?
We live in an age where we have access to a lot of information and we place importance on reducing unnecessary information as much as possible. However, communication between people is not a waste of time.
Social media has made communication easy, but according to Professor Arthur of Harvard University, communication on social media is like "eating a meal without nutrients" (Reference: WIRED)
In addition to gaining experience, speaking face-to-face is a very important element in the pursuit of happiness.
Get energized in a lively place!!
Just going to a bustling place can make you feel energized even if you don't do anything!
During the rainy season, you may feel a little down, so why not go to a lively place and spend some time strolling around?
