One Day, One Life The third week of September marks the beginning of autumn and something unexpected will happen? POPUP at Tokyu Department Store ends
The morning and evening breezes are finally getting cooler, and the air around town is starting to have a hint of autumn. How are you all doing?
The third week of September. Our two-week pop-up at Tokyu Department Store Tama Plaza ended successfully on September 17th.

Looking back, the 14 days from September 4th were truly intense. People stopped to take in the vibrant colors and patterns of African fabrics, and others picked them up to feel the texture and exclaimed, "This pattern is lovely." Each and every encounter became an irreplaceable treasure for us.

What particularly made an impression on me was the mother who chose the bag as a birthday present for her daughter, and the people who said with shining eyes, "This is the first time I've seen African fabric. It's so beautiful." For us, who usually focus our activities online, the opportunity to talk to customers directly was truly invaluable, and it reminded us once again of the origins of "manufacturing."
This time, we also had a first-time experience! One of our pouches mysteriously disappeared out of nowhere (lol). We searched around with the staff, thinking, "Huh? I'm sure it was here..." but we just couldn't find it, as if by some kind of magic.

At first I was surprised, but when I thought about it more carefully, I realized that the pouch had a really adorable pattern. I'm sure someone was captivated by the charm of the adorable animal and couldn't help but think, "I want to take this baby home!" (laughs).
It makes me smile to think that it would be nice if they were used and treasured somewhere. Each pouch is also the start of a new adventure! With that in mind, perhaps one of the joys of a pop-up is seeing our creations set off in unexpected ways (although it can be a bit tricky (lol)).
What I felt throughout the 14 days was the power of "encounters." There's a saying that every encounter is a once-in-a-lifetime experience, and the encounters at the pop-up are a perfect example of this. Because of the limited time, each encounter remains more vividly in my memory.

We would like to express our sincere gratitude to all the customers who took time out of their busy schedules to visit us, and to the staff at Tokyu Department Store Tama Plaza who supported this pop-up.
As autumn deepens, a new challenge begins.
One of these is a pop-up planned for Urawa Parco from October 10th to 19th !

We look forward to seeing you at our next pop-up as well as our online activities. Through the charm of African fabrics, we will cherish each day and walk through each day with a lifetime of memories.
