Ethical African hoodies that help support self-reliance in impoverished areas

Introducing the African hoodies we offer!

This African hoodie is made by LookslikeAvido (Nairobi, Kenya).

Looks Like A Bead's items are made by people living in Kibera slum in Nairobi, the poorest area in Africa.

Another unique feature of Looks Like A Bead is that 20% of its sales are used to support employment for women living in slums and to provide school fees and uniforms for their children.

In other words, the money goes to the local area, the products are produced by local employees, and a portion of that money promotes employment, supporting women's independence and providing education for children, making it a socially sustainable brand.

The main feature of this hoodie is that the white type has rainbow-patterned African fabric placed in lines on the sleeves and attached to the inside of the hood, giving it a design that makes a subtle statement.

The grey version does not have African fabric on the sleeves, but has the brand logo on the chest. The African fabric also peeks out from the hood.

Personally, I like to wear it with the hood inside out, exposing the African fabric. Why not add a playful and story-filled item to your usual hoodie lineup and enrich your soul?
