As a child, Louise kept a dozen chameleons as pets. She fed them several times a day, let them perch on her head, and took them for walks. These laid-back, eerie creatures seem unassuming, but they always found a way to disappear into the wild, where they lived safely.

"FEED THE BONGOS" The mountain bongo, a species endemic to Kenya, is an endangered species with only about 70 remaining in the wild. Poaching has led to a significant decline in their numbers year by year, and the Mt. Kenya Wildlife Conservation Agency is conducting breeding activities to increase their numbers.
